Volunteers from various churches across the country create prayer beads for the seriously wounded veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan. Prayer beads have also been sent to veterans’ hospitals.

As of January 2012, On Beads of Prayer has sent more than 24,100 sets of prayer beads to our troops in the Middle East. We continue to ship prayer beads to our troops and they continue to send us warm letters of appreciation.

On Beads of Prayer has extended the ministry to several more parishes in the Diocese, including St. Luke’s, DC and Trinity.

This outreach is funded by financial contributions and sales of prayer beads. In addition, all sales from our collection of unique handmade jewelry support the troops. There’s an infinite need and we continually welcome contributions of time and money.
