On Beads of Prayer greatly depends on our volunteers to support our mission. We Episcopalians have been joined by Congregational churches, United Church of Christ, Methodists, Lutherans, Jews, Catholics, Buddhists, evangelicals, atheists, girl scouts, children as young as four years old, seniors in their 90’s, and multi-generational families. Bead stringers are college graduates, lawyers, homemakers, teachers, soldiers, bureaucrats, diplomats, nurses, social workers, psychotherapists, high school students, secretaries, lobbyists, and many others!

We’ve come a long way because of generous volunteers donating their love, time, and energy to our ministry. In today’s world, people yearn for a more meaningful connection with God. We look forward to helping many more people deepen their prayer life. The financial support of parishes will help our work continue.
